About this board game
Anima: Twilight of the Gods is a standalone board game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Players embody a group of exceptional individuals and guide them through missions that could stop the end of existence.
The final horror has arrived, changing the foundations of reality. Deities have fallen, ancestral powers have risen, and a nameless entity now feeds on the power of dead gods. By devouring their extinct essences, it seeks to consume the whole world and create a new reality in its own image.
In this climactic setting, each player takes control of extraordinary characters and their remarkable abilities. Use magical powers and the abilities of Ki while pursuing a series of missions designed to oppose the entity that should not exist.
- Play as a group of exceptional individuals with incredible skills.
- Complete missions connected to the struggle to prevent the end of Existence.
- Use plot cards to hinder other players and support your own victory.
Other players are not merely part of the story: they can play plot cards against you, stopping your progress while working toward their own victory. Every mission therefore unfolds amid competing efforts to determine who can shape the final outcome.
Anima: Twilight of the Gods is the concluding part of the trilogy begun in Anima: Shadow of Omega and continued in Anima: Beyond Good and Evil. It can be played independently as a complete game, or combined with either of the two earlier cases to further expand the experience.
