About this board game
Antiquity Quest is a set-collection card game for 2–8 players, with a complete game taking 60–90 minutes. For a quicker experience, you can play a single round in 20–30 minutes.
Your goal is to finish with the highest score by creating collections of Antiquity and Treasure cards. Antiquity cards feature six suits representing ancient civilizations, while Treasures form their own rarer and more valuable suit. Collections that are more challenging to create are worth more points.
At the beginning of each round, every player receives two sets of 10 cards. Choose one set as your hand, while the other becomes a face-down cache that stays hidden until you have played every card from your hand.
- Draw, play, and discard cards on your turn.
- Build your own Antiquity and Treasure collections.
- Sabotage the collections being assembled by your competitors.
- Plan carefully while relying on both strategy and luck.
A round ends when a player has completed at least five collections and played through both their hand and cache. That player receives a bonus for going out first, while every other player gets one final turn before scores are calculated.
Round scores combine the first-player bonus, points for completed collections, and points from the cards you played. In a complete game, scores are tallied over three rounds, and the player with the highest total wins. With its mix of collection-building, direct interference, and tactical timing, Antiquity Quest offers a bold challenge for ambitious ancient-world collectors.
