Apex Legends: The Board Game is a highly competitive miniatures game for 2–6 players, with matches lasting around 90 minutes. Each player takes the role of a unique Legend and joins an opposing squad in a battle for fame, glory, and survival.

Players airdrop onto Kings Canyon, where the battleground gradually shrinks and the final zone becomes the focus of the ultimate confrontation. Squads activate team by team, creating a tense contest of positioning, timing, and teamwork as enemies maneuver through the heat of battle.

The game recreates the unpredictable moments associated with its source game. Players can secure key positions, grab valuable loot moments before an opponent, dive behind cover, or shield a teammate just in time to save them from oblivion.
