Apples to Apples: Expansion Set #3 is an expansion for 3 players with an approximately 30-minute play time, adding new cards and rule variations to Apples to Apples.

This third expansion to the popular Apples to Apples game includes 216 Red Apple cards and 72 Green Apple cards. It also introduces new rules variations that offer different ways to approach each round.

• Apple’s Eye View Variation: The judge selects a red apple card from the point of view of somebody or something else. The player to the judge’s left determines the point of view for that round.
• Bad Apples Variation: When it is their turn to be judge, a player may discard one red apple card from their hand and draw a replacement red apple card.
• Apples for Three Variation: In a three-player game, two red apple cards are played after the judge turns over the green apple card. The judge chooses a winner from the four red apple cards played by the other two players.

The Apple’s Eye View rule brings an unusual perspective to judging, with the required viewpoint potentially belonging to a person, an animal, an object, or anything else. Bad Apples gives players a way to replace a red card they no longer want to keep.

Designed for three-player sessions, the Apples for Three variation specifically changes the card play for a smaller group. Together, these additions give Apples to Apples: Expansion Set #3 a broader collection of cards and optional rules while remaining part of the Apples to Apples series.
