About this expansion

Aqua Garden: Kickstarter Rewards is a mini expansion for 2–4 players, released in 2021, that adds three animals with unique ways to gain Victory Points.

Exclusive to Kickstarter backers, this pack introduces the Pufferfish, Sunfish, and Japanese Spider Crab. Each animal rewards a different element of a player’s aquarium or remaining funds, offering additional scoring possibilities at the end of the game.

• Sunfish: Gain 2 Victory Points for each set of 3 funds still held at the end of the game.
• Pufferfish: Gain 1 Victory Point for each Coral token in your aquarium.
• Japanese Spider Crab: Gain 1 Victory Point for each advanced fish token in your aquarium, including the Japanese Spider Crab itself.

These three animals make the expansion’s scoring effects easy to distinguish. The Sunfish focuses on your remaining funds, while the Pufferfish and Japanese Spider Crab reward specific contents of your aquarium.

The pack also includes a unique Spotted Garden Eel meeple. It replaces the scoring marker cube from the base game, adding an exclusive component to the play experience.

With its combination of new animal scoring abilities and a distinctive replacement meeple, Aqua Garden: Kickstarter Rewards is a compact addition for players who received the Kickstarter-exclusive content. It offers clear Victory Point bonuses tied to funds, Coral tokens, and advanced fish tokens.
