About this board game

Aristocracy is a 2019 board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes. The nobility has mysteriously vanished, leaving players to unite the country by pretending it belongs to them.

The opportunity is too tempting to ignore, but every player has the same plan. Each turn, new tokens are revealed on the game board, creating fresh possibilities for claiming territory, developing connections, and collecting valuable resources.

• Reveal tokens: Add new tokens to the game board at the start of each turn.
• Claim one type: Choose a single type of token to take.
• Build and connect: Some tokens let you place buildings, claim territory, and build connections.
• Collect resources: Other tokens provide resources that are worth points at the end of the game.

Aristocracy offers more than one route to a strong final score. A variety of rewards recognize players who accomplish certain things during the game, adding further goals to pursue alongside building territory and gathering resources.

With the nobility absent and competing claims everywhere, each turn asks you to make the most of the available tokens. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins, making every building, connection, resource, and reward part of the race to take control.
