About this board game

Art Gallery is a museum route-planning board game for 2–6 players, played in about 75 minutes. Take on the role of a tour guide preparing for a new exhibition, studying paintings and seeking the most rewarding path through the museum.

On each turn, you first play a movement card from your hand, with a value from 0 to 8, in front of you to move your pawn through the museum. You then play another 0–8 card face down into your pawn’s area, next to the painting you are studying. Once every player has taken four turns, the dealing phase begins.

• Choose movement cards to navigate the museum rooms.
• Study paintings by placing cards face down beside them.
• Compete for paintings in each area through your total card values.
• Keep your collected cards in their original order throughout the game.

During the dealing phase, paintings are distributed to the players with the highest total value in each area. The paintings you receive are placed in front of you, creating a sequence that cannot be rearranged. This makes each decision important: the route you choose and the order in which you collect paintings shape your final tour.

To score, examine the icons representing different tours on your collected paintings. Add the values of icons that appear in a consecutive sequence, one after another, then add the values of the cards remaining in your hand. The player with the most points wins.
