About this board game

Atlas & Zeus is a two-player board game with a playing time of about 30 minutes, released in 2004. Set during the final moments of Atlantis, it casts both players as rival clans descended from Atlas, each struggling to survive the destruction of their legendary home.

According to the story, Atlantis was entrusted to the Titan Atlas long before recorded history. His sons built a magnificent civilization and developed potent magic that allowed them to transform into marine animals. After Atlas disappeared, however, his sons split into two clans and began fighting for sole rule of Atlantis and its riches.

Zeus, ruler of the gods, intervenes to punish their greed. He unleashes a mighty flood that engulfs the entire archipelago in a single day and night. Zeus promises to save only the clan that can escape the raging elements and endure for the longest possible time.

In Atlas & Zeus, players relive this epic contest for survival and divine pardon. The game’s setting combines myth, rivalry, transformation, and impending catastrophe in a focused experience designed specifically for two players.
