Aye, Dark Overlord! The Green Box is a humorous fantasy party game for 4–7 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Each player becomes an evil goblin servant summoned before Rigor Mortis, the Dark Overlord and Master of all Evils.

An important mission has failed once again, and the goblins must explain why. With the Overlord’s wrath looming, every servant has the same desperate plan: tell a convincing lie and shift the blame onto an unfortunate companion. The challenge is that everyone else is trying to do exactly the same thing.

This roleplaying game focuses on improvised excuses, outrageous stories, and blame-shifting. Players use their explanations to protect themselves while directing the Dark Overlord’s suspicion toward their fellow goblins. Panic, deception, and humor drive the action as each servant struggles to avoid becoming the next target of their master’s displeasure.

The Green Box is a complete version that can be played on its own, while also being compatible with the original game. It introduces new mechanisms that add fresh ways to respond during the servants’ desperate attempts to survive.
