About this board game

Aztec is a bluffing treasure game for 3–6 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Set inside an accursed Aztec temple, it challenges players to claim valuable jewels while avoiding traps and curses over five rounds.

You have broken into the temple, but sharing its riches will not be easy. Everyone wants as many jewels as possible, and the race for treasure invites deception, daring choices, and clever attempts to outmaneuver the other adventurers.

Each round brings the central tension of Aztec into focus: pursue the jewels that could make your haul the most important, or protect yourself from the curses hidden among the temple’s treasures. The threat of traps ensures that seeking riches is never entirely safe.

  • Players: 3–6
  • Play time: approximately 30 minutes
  • Structure: five rounds of treasure-seeking
  • Key skill: clever bluffing

Success depends on judging the situation and deciding how far to push your luck. Rivals may want the same jewels, while the temple’s curses can turn an appealing prize into a dangerous choice.

With its modern Indiana Jones-style premise, Aztec delivers a compact contest of treasure, risk, and bluffing. Play through all five rounds, avoid the curses, and try to finish with the most important treasure.
