About this expansion

Azul: Summer Pavilion – Objective Tiles Mini Expansion is a 2019 mini expansion for 2–4 players, with a play time of approximately 45 minutes. It adds 16 bonus cards to the original game, giving players opportunities to receive additional tiles from the supply.

Set up the original game as described. Then place all 16 bonus cards face up next to the game board so they are available during play.

Each bonus card is connected to a requirement. When you have fulfilled the requirements for receiving a particular card, take the corresponding bonus card. The expansion therefore adds an objective-based way to gain an extra reward during the game.

After taking a bonus card, immediately choose any tile from the supply of the game board. Place this tile next to your playing board, following the expansion’s stated reward procedure.
