About this board game
BADFLIX Scareville is a fast-paced, dice-based push-your-luck game for 1–5 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes. You play quirky horror villains using the BADFLIX streaming service to sneak into living rooms, frighten movie watchers, and drag them through their TV screens into Scareville.
Players race through haunted horror films by advancing progress markers along film tracks. On your turn, roll the dice and combine the results to move forward. Use every die efficiently and you can keep rolling for greater rewards—but failed combinations or unused dice can end your turn or even reset your progress.
Reach the screen at the end of a film track to collect a soul. That achievement also resets the film for all opponents, making timing and risk management just as important as clever dice combinations. The first player to collect three souls triggers the final round, while a longer game raises the target to five.
- Push-your-luck dice play: decide how far to press your advantage each turn.
- Film-track racing: advance through haunted movies to reach their screens.
- Optional Deleted Scenes: add unpredictable effects, chaos, and tension.
- Optional action cards: use hand cards to change dice rolls, annoy opponents, or gain an advantage.
Action cards are discarded after use, so every play matters. With its mix of tense rolls, resetting progress, and opportunistic interference, BADFLIX Scareville turns every film into a race against both fortune and the other villains.
