Baseball Highlights: 2045 – Ballparks Expansion is a 2017 expansion for 1–4 players with a listed play time of 45 minutes. It adds 10 cards and introduces the Home Ballpark mechanic.

When playing with Ballparks, each player receives two random ballpark cards. From those two cards, each player selects one to become their home ballpark, while the other card is discarded face down.

The selected card remains relevant whenever its player has the Home Field. At those moments, the effect of that player’s home ballpark applies, adding a distinct rule to the situation.

• Deal two random ballpark cards to each player.
• Select one card as your home ballpark.
• Discard the other card face down.
• Apply your home ballpark’s effect whenever you have the Home Field.

Ballpark effects apply to both players, so a home ballpark’s rule is not limited to the player who selected it. This creates a clear connection between the Home Field and the chosen ballpark card, while ensuring that the effect matters to everyone involved.
