About this board game

BattleCON: War of Indines is a fast-paced dueling card game listed for 2–4 players, with games taking about 60 minutes. Designed around the tactics and intuition of 2D fighting games, it challenges players to choose unique attacks and outmaneuver a rival.

Each player selects one of 18 different characters, including a fire elemental, an ocean guardian with a panda familiar, a space-bending trapper, and a shadowy assassin. Every fighter uses a distinctive gameplay mechanism, so changing characters introduces new strategies while the shared foundations remain easy to learn and challenging to master.

Players move along a seven-space-long board, trading blows and trying to strike their opponent. Attacks are formed by combining a character’s unique styles and abilities with basic cards available to every character, creating tactical choices that reward careful timing and prediction.

This 2012 release is available in Classic and Remastered versions. Remastered keeps the same 18 fighters while adding a uniform art style, balance changes for a few fighters, new double-sided finishers, updated components, and a streamlined rulebook focused on standard two-player duels.
