Battles of the English Civil War: A Solitaire Wargame is a one-player hex-and-counter wargame with a listed play time of 50 minutes, covering key battles from the First English Civil War.

Set between 1642 and 1646, the game places you in command of various units representing many hundreds of men each. Your task is to pursue the objectives of each scenario while facing an enemy controlled by the game book, which acts as the game’s artificial intelligence.

The game is designed to be clear, accessible, and quick to learn, allowing you to get into the action without the lengthy learning curve associated with more complex wargames.
