Beaver Creek

About this board game

Beaver Creek is a cooperative dam-building game for 1–5 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Players take on the role of beavers working together to construct a dam from logs and beavers while trying to prevent the structure from collapsing.

Building the dam is difficult and risky work. On each turn, the dice determine which items a player must use and how those items are placed on the dam. Every decision contributes to the shared construction challenge, so players must handle the available pieces with care.

Although the players cooperate on the dam, there is also a competitive goal. The most skillful beaver can claim victory by placing all the logs from their reserve before the other players do. Success therefore depends on balancing the needs of the group with the race to finish your own supply.
