Beer Mug Dice is a 20-minute dice-rolling game without dice for 3–6 players, featuring beer barrels, secret bids, and push-your-luck decisions.

At the Wild Boar tavern, the active player takes the role of the innkeeper. Nine small barrels are rolled from a dice cup, including two special barrels. Only the barrels that remain standing count, with normal barrels showing numbers and special barrels offering symbols that can double values or cancel them.

After the innkeeper’s first roll, the other players secretly place numbered cards in front of themselves. The innkeeper must then decide whether to reroll, change values, or end the turn. Every decision affects how much beer can be shared—and how much the innkeeper keeps.

• Roll nine beer barrels instead of conventional dice.
• Use special symbols to double values or cancel them.
• Secretly choose numbered cards while the innkeeper weighs the risks.
• Score points by keeping requests modest and avoiding the round’s penalty.

When the turn ends, the guests reveal their cards and add them together. If the innkeeper’s total is lower than that sum, the innkeeper wins the round and keeps all the beer, while the guest with the highest card loses points. If the innkeeper’s total is higher, each player scores the value of their card and the innkeeper keeps the rest.

Beer Mug Dice combines hidden information, tactical choices, and tempting rerolls in a compact tavern contest. The game ends when a player reaches at least 75 points; the player with the most points wins.
