About this board game

Beetle to the Bubble is a quick racing game for 2–5 players, ages 8 and up, with play lasting about 25–30 minutes. Guide your team of office beetles across a colourful flower track and get every member to the finish tile before the other teams.

Each turn, you play a card to move one of your beetles to the next flower showing the corresponding colour. The route is never quite the same, however, because the track continually changes as beetles race across it.

• Shifting track: When a beetle lands on a flower, that beetle’s colour replaces the flower’s colours.
• Extra cards: Landing your beetle on top of another beetle can earn you additional cards.
• Hitching rides: Beetles stacked on top of a moving beetle travel along with it.

These simple rules create plenty of tactical choices. You must choose your path wisely while watching how each move changes the available colours and affects the beetles around you. A well-timed stack can help your team move forward, but opponents may also try to interfere with your plans.

The theme brings a lighthearted workplace story to the race: after a busy week at the milk carton office, the beetles are heading to the Bubble Bar, where the first team to arrive wins a free round of nectar soda. With its easy-to-learn movement system, changing track, and interactive beetle stacking, Beetle to the Bubble offers a lively contest for the weekend.
