About this board game

Before There Were Stars… is a storytelling game for 3–6 players that takes about 60 minutes. Each player becomes a storyteller for “their people,” crafting a mythic creation story inspired by constellation cards.

Across the game, players imagine answers to some of humanity’s most enduring questions: Who are we, and how did it all begin? Their stories can reach from the creation of the world to the origins of civilization, the rise of a great hero, and the end of days.
