About this board game

Behind: Purple is a tile-assembly puzzle game for 1–4 players with a 90-minute play time, released in 2025. As the follow-up to Behind, it presents three new scenes to analyze, assemble, and admire.

Begin by observing the tiles laid out in front of you. Your task is to assemble each scene logically, using the available information to reconstruct the picture. Each scene includes six clue cards, which are turned over in numerical order as you work.

The box contains three distinct scenes, each with its own mechanisms and reflection:

• La Machine Infernale, illustrated by Crocotame, with 42 tiles
• Le Repas, illustrated by Mélody Leblond, with 86 tiles
• Le Cahier, illustrated by Pierô & Isaak, with 87 tiles

Once you have reconstructed a picture, you can read all of the clues available for that scene—even clues you did not turn over while solving it. These clues help validate your thinking and confirm your conclusions, adding a reflective step after the assembly challenge.

Finally, turn over each tile to reveal the completed image on the reverse. This distinctive conclusion makes every solved scene a moment of discovery. With three illustrations, different tile counts, and six clues per scene, Behind: Purple offers a structured visual challenge that unfolds through observation, logical assembly, confirmation, and revelation.
