About this board game

Blades & Rose is a fast-paced social deduction game for 5–10 players, with play lasting around 25 minutes. In a conflict shaped by sacrifice, deception, and strategy, one faction seeks to restore the White Rose while the other fights to end the resurrection.

The Resurrection of the White Rose is near. Guided by the Bishop, devoted followers offer their lives to restore the illustrious Mother to her full strength. But the authorities who gained power through the previous White Rose refuse to surrender their influence, setting the stage for the mass slaying of her followers.

Two opposing factions determine the fate of the White Rose:

• The White Rose must send enough followers to the underground sanctuary.
• The Blood Blade faction must terminate enough followers to prevent the Resurrection.

The struggle has a crucial additional condition. There is only one embodiment of the White Rose, and if she is killed, the Blood Blades win immediately. Every decision therefore carries the threat of sudden defeat, making careful judgment and misdirection essential.

To prevail in Blades & Rose, players must master deception and strategy while using their cards wisely. A single misstep could mean your demise as the factions attempt to identify allies, protect their cause, and outmaneuver their opponents.
