Blitzkrieg!: Nippon Expansion is a 1-2-player game with a 30-minute play time, set in an alternate-universe 1946 where German and Japanese forces battle for control of America.

This expansion explores a dramatic hypothetical scenario: the Axis coalition has won World War Two, Germany has invaded and occupied the United States of America, and Japan has turned against its former ally. The result is a new challenge focused on a struggle for domination across German-held America.

One player commands the German forces, while the other takes control of the Japanese forces. Their conflict is shaped by the unexpected reversal of the former alliance, transforming the setting into a direct contest between two powers that once stood on the same side.

The Nippon Expansion adds a distinctive alternate-history premise to the Blitzkrieg! setting. Its scenario combines military confrontation, shifting loyalties, and a fantastical twist, with Japan invading German-held America in a world that has taken a very different path.
