Bloodborne: The Card Game is a competitive card game for 3–5 players that plays in about 45 minutes, inspired by the Chalice Dungeons beneath the fallen city of Yharnam.

These ever-changing labyrinths and tombs, carved out by the Great Ones, are filled with horrifying creatures. Players compete to kill monsters and claim their blood, turning every encounter into a tense test of risk management, group thinking, and tactical play.

Each turn, a monster chosen at random attacks. Players fight back as a team by simultaneously playing a card from their hands, attempting to defeat the creature before it can retaliate. The blood awarded depends on how much damage each player dealt.

• Upgrade your weapons: Begin with a hand of basic weapons and improve your fighting combos and capabilities.
• Manage your progress: Keep fighting to collect more blood, or opt out and bank your gains permanently.
• Face dangerous retaliation: Monsters can strike back with exploding dice that may deal infinite damage.

The central decision is how long to remain in the fight. Players can continue battling for greater rewards, but dying in combat means losing their progress. With collected blood counting as victory points, every choice between greed and safety can change the outcome.

Bloodborne: The Card Game channels the intensity and frustration of the video game into a contest between players, combining shared combat with individual incentives. Expect difficult decisions, sudden danger, and plenty of death as you push deeper into the dungeons.
