About this board game

Bobbidi Boom is a push-your-luck card game for 3–5 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Players take the role of witches gathering for an ancient ritual, adding strange ingredients to a shared cauldron as they compete to brew the most valuable potions.

Each player begins with a deck of ordinary ingredients. On your turn, choose whether to reveal the top card of your deck or pass. Passing removes you from the round with a lower level of risk and a lower potential reward, while revealing another card keeps you in play—unless it creates a dangerous combination.

If you reveal the third ingredient of the same kind on the table, the cauldron explodes and you are eliminated from the round. The remaining witches continue revealing ingredients or passing until only one player remains.

• Press your luck: Keep revealing cards for greater opportunities, or leave the round before disaster strikes.
• Manage the cauldron: Watch the ingredients already revealed and judge when the risk becomes too great.
• Improve your deck: Gain special Ingredients with point values and effects that add variety to later rounds.

At the end of each round, players add a new card to their deck, beginning with the last player standing. Those whose cauldrons exploded receive the worst cards available, making every decision matter beyond the current ritual.

When the game ends, players count their points. In Bobbidi Boom, the witch with the highest score wins—but getting there means knowing exactly when to stop.
