Bonaparte in the Quadrilateral: War of the First Coalition – Part II is a two-player historical board game about General Bonaparte’s 1796–97 campaign against Austrian forces in northern Italy. Released in 2022, it presents the desperate nine-month struggle to capture Mantova, the only fortress of the Quadrilateral still under Austrian control.

Following the lightning campaign that crushed Piedmont, Bonaparte turned his attention to the key Austrian fortress. The game covers the major engagements and relief efforts that shaped the campaign, from the struggle to cross the Po at Lodi to the final Austrian attempt to break the siege at Rivoli.

• Lodi, 10 May: Fight to cross the bridge over the Po and continue the pursuit of the Austrian forces.
• Castiglione, 5 August: Face Wurmser’s effort to sweep away French gains and relieve Mantova.
• Mantova, 1796–97: Experience the siege of the “Queen of the Quadrilateral” and three Austrian relief attempts.
• Arcole, 15–17 November: Attempt a French outflanking move across the Adige.
• Rivoli, 14–15 January: Respond to an Austrian counterstroke as reinforcements threaten to cut off the French.
