About this board game

Botany: War of the Posies is a competitive deck-building game for 2–4 players, in which esteemed head gardeners compete to create the most elaborate garden.

Every player begins with the same base deck, then develops a unique personal deck throughout the game. Purchase new cards using what you gain by playing cards, and draw from your own deck while managing your own discard pile.

Alongside deck development, you will build your garden by acquiring Garden Features and planting Flowers in them to earn Reputation. Carefully expanding your garden brings you closer to victory, but rival gardeners can interfere with your plans.

• Build and customize your own deck from a shared starting point.
• Acquire Garden Features and plant Flowers to earn Reputation.
• Plant a poisonous flower in an opponent’s garden before they do the same to you.
• Race to complete Garden Features worth 7 Reputation.

The game ends as soon as one player has completed 7 Reputation worth of Garden Features. Once the end condition is reached, the player with the most points wins.
