Boudicca: The Warrior Queen is a historical game for 1–2 players, with an approximately 180-minute playing time, about the Celtic revolt against Roman occupation in Britain in 61 A.D.

One player leads a varied cluster of independent Celtic tribes, seeking to cause enough trouble and loss to persuade Rome to abandon the island. The other commands scattered Roman troops, attempting to suppress the rebellion more effectively than Governor G.S. Paulinus. The struggle asks a dramatic historical question: will London burn, or will it be saved?

The revolt initially succeeded in burning three major towns and slaughtering tens of thousands of Roman citizens and allies. After Paulinus achieved a remarkable victory, Roman domination was reaffirmed, and Rome remained in Britain for more than 300 years. Boudicca: The Warrior Queen explores how events might have unfolded differently.
