Brains Family: Burgen & Drachen

About this board game

Brains Family: Burgen & Drachen is a competitive puzzle game for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Players race to place tiles on their individual boards and guide their knight to a series of castles.

At the start of each round, a player reveals an adventure card. This card shows where the dragons and castles are located on the boards, giving everyone the same puzzle to solve. Players then compete to find the correct arrangement of tiles as quickly as possible.

The main challenge is to create a route that lets your knight travel to all the castles. During the first part of the game, fighting the dragon is optional, allowing players to focus on reaching the required destinations.

• Compete with 2–4 puzzle enthusiasts.

• Place tiles on an individual player board.
• Guide your knight to every castle shown.
• Fight the dragon when the round’s requirements demand it.

Winning a round changes the challenge for that player. From then on, they must fight the dragon in every subsequent round while still visiting all the castles. This adds an extra requirement to their puzzle as the game continues.
