About this board game
Bushido is an oriental fantasy tabletop miniature battle game for two players, with a typical play time of around 90 minutes. Each player commands a small force of individual 32mm metal miniatures in a contest of tactics, objectives, and survival.
Rather than directing a large, faceless army, you lead a handful of unique characters. These forces meet on the battlefield, where both commanders attempt to outwit, outfight, and outlive the opposing force while fulfilling their own battle objectives and denying the enemy theirs.
If you have played tabletop miniature games before, Bushido belongs to the skirmish game category. Its compact forces and individual miniatures create a focused battlefield experience in which every character contributes to the unfolding contest.
- Designed for exactly two players
- Uses small forces of individual 32mm metal miniatures
- Combines strategy with dice-driven randomness
- Typical games take between one and two hours
Games are fast-moving and flexible, with constant opportunities for strategizing, counter-strategizing, and counter-counter-strategizing. Careful tactical planning matters, but dice introduce uncertainty, so success also depends on your ability to think on your feet.
A typical game takes between one and two hours, with experienced players often finishing in less time. First released in 2011, Bushido offers a concentrated battle for players who enjoy tactical decisions, changing circumstances, and small-scale miniature warfare.
