About this board game

Ca$h ‘n Gun$ is a bluffing and negotiation game for 4–6 players that plays in about 30 minutes. In an abandoned warehouse, a gang of criminals must divide its loot—but when negotiations fail, foam guns settle the argument.

Each of the eight rounds begins with a cash pot placed in front of the surviving players. The round’s Don directs the action, calling on everyone to secretly choose a weapon card before counting down to the tense moment when players aim their foam guns.

Once everyone is targeted, players judge the danger and the value of the pot. They may simultaneously Chicken Out, leaving the confrontation but taking a Chicken token that reduces their final gains. Those who remain reveal their cards and resolve the shootout.

• Triple-Bang! cards resolve first and wound their targets.
• Regular Bang! cards then wound their targets.
• Click! cards are bluffs and have no effect.
• Wounded players miss the cash split and receive a bandage.

After the shooting, surviving players divide the pot as evenly as possible. Any remainder stays on the table and increases the next pot, while used cards are discarded—even cards played by players who backed down. Tracking the available ammunition is crucial, because each player has only a limited supply of real shots.

Players must weigh risk, bluff convincingly, and decide when the money is worth facing a gun. Bandages can eventually eliminate a player, and the richest surviving gangster wins. Most editions also include expansions that alter the rules and introduce a traitor-based mechanic, giving Ca$h ‘n Gun$ additional ways to turn a tense standoff into chaos.
