About this expansion

Canvas: Kickstarter Mini Expansion is a 2021 Kickstarter-exclusive expansion for 1–5 players, with a 30-minute play time. It adds 10 art cards, 8 award cards, and a rules card to the base game.

The new art cards introduce two icons not found in the base game. The bonus ribbon provides straight victory points, but does not help meet any scoring conditions. The x2 icon doubles the icon in the slot to which it points, creating another distinctive scoring possibility.

Each game can use a different Award card with its own unique game-end scoring rule. These awards add variability and complexity, making the experience more replayable, particularly when playing at expert levels.

The art cards feature imaginative and varied scenes, including human teeth with rainbow gums, a curly blue tree, a purple-and-blue dragon, and a street artist spraying red paint. Other images show an overgrown tower ruin, colorful paper airplanes, a person riding a green-winged unicorn, an open treasure chest, a levitating rock formation, and multicolored fireworks.

With its new scoring icons and rotating end-game objectives, Canvas: Kickstarter Mini Expansion offers a compact way to bring additional variety and challenge to the Canvas base game.
