Castle Rampage

About this board game

Castle Rampage is a quick two-player tower defense card game that takes about 15 minutes to play. Each player must build and defend a castle while launching an assault to destroy their opponent’s fortress.

The game begins with both players constructing their castle and gate from cards. Before attacking, each player needs three cards in each location. Once those defenses are in place, the struggle becomes a race to reinforce one side of the battlefield while breaking through the other.

During each round, players may draw a card from the draw pile and reinforce their own castle with one card. They can then play additional cards to attack, creating a constant decision between strengthening their defenses and committing resources to an offensive push.

• Build: Create your castle and gate with cards.
• Defend: Reinforce your fortress before it falls.
• Attack: Target the opponent’s gate first, then their castle.
• Win: Destroy the last defense card protecting the opposing castle.

Attacks must first go after the opponent’s gate. Once the gate is destroyed, the castle itself becomes the target, putting every remaining defense card under pressure.

With both players acting as attacker and defender, Castle Rampage keeps every turn focused on competing priorities. Decide which part of your castle needs reinforcement, then judge how many cards to play while trying to tear down the opposing walls as quickly as possible.
