About this board game

Chabyrinthe is a maze game for 1–4 players that takes about 15 minutes, in which players help cats reach a sweet home across a 4×4 maze grid.

The map creates the central challenge. During a turn, a player must rotate a card and then either take a card or rotate a card. After these actions, the maze may provide a way for a cat to reach a sweet home.

Whenever a cat can reach a sweet home at the end of the required actions, the player takes that cat card. The game therefore combines changing the maze with the opportunity to collect valuable cat cards.

Each cat has a different value, making every successful rescue count toward the final result. At the end of the game, players compare their cat points, and the player with the most points wins.

With its compact playing time and simple objective, Chabyrinthe focuses on the clear task of helping cats find their destination. Players manipulate the maze, look for a reachable sweet home, and gather cat cards while the game progresses.

Released in 2007, this 1–4 player title offers a concise maze experience built around rotating cards, reaching homes, and scoring cats by their different values.
