About this expansion

Chakra: Yin Yang is a modular strategy game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2020, it offers four distinct modules that can be combined at will for a brand-new gameplay experience.

Each module changes the way a game of Chakra develops. Together, they create new opportunities to plan ahead, make difficult choices, and respond to the changing value of the Chakras. The modules can be used in different combinations, letting players shape the experience around the elements they want to explore.

• White crystals: Temporarily harmonize Chakras to increase the speed and flow of energies. Combine them with negative energies to gain Yin-Yang tokens, providing an additional source of plenitude.
• Harmonization bonuses: Speed up the game while making every Chakra attractive.
• Objectives: Race to achieve them, creating difficult choices and increasing interaction.
• Special abilities: Use good timing to benefit most from the abilities available.

The first module focuses on the possibilities offered by white crystals and the rewards gained from combining them with negative energies. The second accelerates play through harmonization bonuses, while ensuring that every Chakra remains appealing.

The third module adds a race toward objectives, pushing players to weigh their options as they compete for progress. Finally, the fourth module makes timing essential, asking players to judge when the available special abilities will be most valuable.

With its mix-and-match structure, Chakra: Yin Yang provides a flexible way to experience the game. Select a single module or combine several to create a fresh balance of strategy, speed, objectives, interaction, and timing.
