Chaos in the Old World: The Horned Rat Expansion is an expansion for 3–5 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes. It introduces the Skaven and their sinister god, the Horned Rat, to the race for dominance over the Old World.

From their vast Under Empire of tunnels, caves, and underground roads, the verminous Skaven emerge to advance their own dark agenda. The Horned Rat player commands a legion of Skaven followers, using numbers and subterfuge to spread the species’ teeming masses across the Old World and score points.

This expansion adds a fifth player to the conflict between the Ruinous Powers. While the Skaven pursue their own schemes, the other players must contend with a new threat as they attempt to corrupt the Old World and secure victory.
