Christmas Lights: A Card Game is a festive card game for 2–6 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Players compete to build their own sets of Christmas lights and become the first to complete two sets.

Open the decoration boxes, sort through the bulbs, and prepare to untangle your holiday lights. During play, you will swap, play, trade, and draw Christmas Light Bulbs into your sets, while exchanging information and arranging the bulbs in the right order.

The game turns a familiar holiday task into a friendly competition between decorators. The goal is straightforward: build your strands efficiently and complete two sets before anyone else. Its seasonal theme and accessible premise make it suitable for holiday fun with family and friends.

Christmas Lights: A Card Game also includes bonus games with rules contributed by different designers, including Christopher Chung, Chad Elkins, Daniel Zayas, Don Riddle, Scot and Kenny Eaton, and others. These additional games are designed for very young gamers and adults, offering modified versions of classics such as Memory and Old Maid alongside brand-new original designs.

The main game was designed by Adam Collins and Chad Head, with illustrations by Dave Perillo. The First Edition, released in 2018, included 11 bonus games. The Second Edition, released in holiday 2020, features a slightly modified main-game ruleset, graphic design changes, and a twelfth bonus game.
