About this board game
Claim It! is a 2–5-player dice game played in about 40 minutes, where players compete to build the largest connected system of mines.
In these gold-filled hills, every roll offers a chance to expand your territory. Roll three dice to claim spaces on the board, then decide whether to stop safely or keep rolling in pursuit of even more land.
When you stop, replace the white “Squatter” markers in the spaces you claimed with markers of your own color. You can also steal claims from other players or double your claim to make an area permanently yours, creating opportunities to reshape the board and strengthen your position.
- Roll three dice to claim areas on the board.
- Stop rolling to secure the spaces gained during your turn.
- Keep rolling to claim more, but risk losing everything from the current turn.
The danger comes when the dice no longer give you a combination you can use. If you bust, all the spaces claimed during that turn are lost, so every decision balances immediate gains against the possibility of walking away empty-handed.
As the game progresses, players compete not only for individual spaces but also for territory that connects into a larger group. The game ends with the player who has the largest connected group of spaces taking the win.
With its simple claim-and-roll structure and meaningful choice between stopping and pressing your luck, Claim It! turns every turn into a contest for valuable land. Build carefully, take calculated risks, and connect your claims into the biggest mine system.
