About this board game

Clue is a murder mystery game for 2–6 players that takes about 40 minutes to play. Investigate the murder of Mr. Boddy in his mansion and determine who did it, which weapon they used, and where the crime occurred.

The solution is concealed in the crime envelope. To uncover it, carefully question your fellow players and use deduction to work out which information remains hidden. Clever questioning is the key to narrowing down the case.

This edition adds an unusual helper to the investigation: the ghost of Mrs. White. When you roll doubles, you can summon her by saying, “Alexa, ask Mrs. White.” Her response may affect the course of the game.

If Mrs. White is in a pleasant mood, she might help you advance. If she is not, she may instead give help to another player—and her warnings suggest that a seemingly good day can quickly turn sour. The result is a mystery experience where every question matters and a lucky roll can bring an unpredictable ghostly interruption.

With its hidden information, suspect questioning, and optional Amazon Alexa interaction, Clue combines classic murder-mystery deduction with a spirited appearance from Mrs. White.
