About this expansion

CO₂: Second Chance – Limited Pack Expansion and Upgrade is a 2019 expansion and component upgrade pack for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 120 minutes. It includes the unlocked stretch goals from the Kickstarter campaign and is not part of the retail version of the game.

This Limited Pack combines new expansions with upgraded components for CO₂: Second Chance. Add fresh possibilities to your sessions with the CO₂: World Event Expansion, which introduces a global cataclysmic event affecting the entire planet, and the Arctic Expansion.

The pack also contains the Special Projects Expansion: six new huge tiles that change the rules for projects and encourage alternative strategies. A limited Huge Coal Factory tile is included as well, giving players another component to add to their plays.

The component upgrades replace the normal counters with distinctive three-dimensional markers. Use the factory-shaped CO₂ marker in competitive CO₂ games, the larger factory-shaped marker in cooperative CO₂ games, and the other upgraded markers in your CO₂ game as specified.
