About this board game

Cocktail is a 45-minute game for 2–9 players, released in 2021, in which family members compete for a major inheritance by proving their honor while poisoning their rivals.

Players place cards facedown on the table, either in front of themselves or in front of other players. As each card is played, its owner announces what it shows, such as wine, cheese, caviar, or olives. The announcement may be truthful—or it may conceal poison.

When another player catches a lie, the liar collects dishonor points, which count against their score. Players can also exchange cards with one another unseen, creating uncertainty about what may ultimately be waiting in front of each family member.

• Announce the food or drink shown on a facedown card.
• Challenge suspected lies and risk collecting dishonor.
• Exchange cards unseen with other players.
• Choose when to take your drink and reveal your cards.

When you decide to take your drink, shuffle and flip open the cards in front of you. Expensive food earns points, but poison costs you health, making every reveal a dangerous test of judgment and trust.

The game lasts three rounds, and the winner is the most honorable survivor. In Cocktail, every claim can be questioned, every exchange can change your fate, and the pursuit of the fortune may demand that you risk your own health along the way.
