About this expansion
Codenames: Bonus Pack – CGE Games is a 2016 promo pack for Codenames, featuring ten additional double-sided cards for games with 2–8 players and a 45-minute play time.
Each card provides a different word on each side, offering twenty additional word choices in total. The pack is designed as a compact addition to Codenames, giving players more card content to include in their games.
The double-sided cards feature a varied selection of words, including familiar subjects, roles, places, activities, and ideas. The complete card list is:
- Goblin / League
- Dungeon / Trucker
- Codename / Alchemist
- Blog / Legend
- Calendar / Last Will
- Moose / Pictomania
- Sneak / Pet
- Prodigals Club / Shipyard
- Century / Alert
- Age / Adrenaline
Because every card is double-sided, the pack offers a choice between two printed words on each component. Players can select the side they want to use, making the cards a straightforward way to add variety while keeping the focus on Codenames’ word-based format.
Published in 2016, Codenames: Bonus Pack – CGE Games is a focused promotional product rather than a standalone game. Its ten cards are intended for Codenames sessions, whether played with a smaller group of 2 or a larger group of up to 8 players.
