About this expansion

Combat Commander: Battle Pack #1 – Paratroopers is a two-player scenario collection for Combat Commander: Europe, with games listed at approximately 120 minutes. It is not a complete game and requires ownership of Combat Commander: Europe to play.

This first themed Battle Pack focuses on the exploits of American, German, and Russian airborne forces. It adds eleven new scenarios on cardstock, covering engagements in Germany, France, Belgium, and Russia during World War II.

The pack includes four new maps, numbered 25 through 28, along with scenarios set at locations including Lanzerath, Neuville-au-Plain, Carentan, Bastogne, the Veliki Bukrin Bridgehead, Flamierge, Trois Ponts, Sainte-Mère-Église, and Caponnet.

  • Components: two 17-by-22-inch, two-sided color mapsheets
  • Scenario material: six two-sided Scenario Cards
  • Content: eleven scenarios, including both morning and afternoon attacks at Lanzerath

Scenario titles include “Fields of Fire,” “Fields of Blood,” “Turnbull Turns ’em,” “Carentan Causeway,” “No Ingouf Around,” “Operation Repulse,” “Red Skies at Night,” “Blizzard Baptism,” “Look Mom, No Tanks!,” “We Go!,” and “Encircled at Hill 30.” Their dates range from 25 September 1943 to 4 January 1945.

Combat Commander: Battle Pack #1 – Paratroopers is designed as the first of a series of themed collections for the Combat Commander: Europe system. The scenarios are credited to Will Green, John Holme, Gregory L. Wong, Bryan Collars, Ric Van Dyke, Tray Green, and Dan Holte.
