Company of Heroes: Solo Expansion

About this expansion

Company of Heroes: Solo Expansion is a revised 2025 expansion for 1–2 players, designed for solo and cooperative games against a more intelligent AI.

This second edition builds on the strengths of the first edition while substantially revising how the AI plays. It can now secure resource control points and victory control points in the same way as a human player, creating a more direct and natural contest.

With these changes, games can use standard victory conditions rather than relying on the abstract round limit found in the first edition. The result is a more conventional framework for determining success while playing alone or as part of a human team.

• Play against the AI in solo games.
• Join forces with the AI in cooperative games.
• Use 250 high-quality acrylic unit tiles.
• Explore multiple Fog of War modes, including a 45-minute Fog of War Lite Mode.

The acrylic unit tiles support several approaches to Fog of War play, giving players options for how much hidden information to include. The Fog of War Lite Mode is specifically designed for quick games lasting 45 minutes.

Whether you want an opponent controlled by improved AI, a teammate for a cooperative experience, or a faster Fog of War option, Company of Heroes: Solo Expansion offers a flexible way to play. Its revised systems focus on control of resources and victory points, bringing the AI closer to the way a human player competes.
