About this board game

Company of Heroes is a World War II board wargame for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Based on the Relic and Sega video game, it brings squad-level tactics, resource management, and base development to the tabletop.

Players compete individually or in teams, maneuvering units across the battlefield and fighting to control valuable points. Securing these positions provides manpower, munitions, and fuel, which drive each faction’s economy and open new strategic possibilities.

Resources can be spent to construct buildings, purchase units, and improve abilities. As the battle develops, players unlock increasingly powerful forces, eventually bringing their nation’s formidable end-game units into play.

• Use cover, buildings, spotting, flanking armor, and multi-unit tactics.

Combat rewards careful positioning and thoughtful decisions. Fog of war, cover, veteran upgrades, and the combination of different units all help create tactical choices, while purchasing and building decisions shape the wider course of the game.

Victory comes in more than one form. Players can race to collect enough victory points before their opponent, or aim to completely annihilate the enemy base. Company of Heroes combines tactical movement with the economic challenge of securing, collecting, and spending resources, creating a streamlined board game experience inspired by the choices and mission strategies of its digital counterpart.
