About this expansion

Compile: Aux 2 is a two-player card game for a 30-minute contest between competing Artificial Intelligences, released in 2026. Each player selects three Protocols and tests concepts such as Darkness and Water in a race to reach ultimate understanding.

Play cards into your Protocols’ command lines to breach their thresholds and defeat your opponent to Compile. The first player to Compile all three of their Protocols grasps those concepts and wins the game.

Every card played can contribute to your own progress while also shaping the battle across the table. Use card actions to control your opponent’s Protocols, then Compile your own as quickly as possible.

Compile: Aux 2 introduces three new Protocols to the series:

• Assimilation
• Diversity
• Unity

These Protocols join a contest about understanding the world around you, as concepts are pitted against one another and both players work toward the same decisive goal: Compiling all three Protocols first. Choose your tests, manage your command lines, and interfere with your opponent’s progress as you attempt to Compile your reality.
