About this expansion

Concordia: Venus (Expansion) is an expansion for 2–6 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes. It adds new personality cards, two maps, and rules for teams of two players to play against one another.

The expansion introduces the goddess Venus through new personality cards, opening up new strategies within Concordia. These cards add another option for exploring the game’s strategic possibilities while using components from the Concordia base game.

Two new maps are included for play: Hellas and Ionium. Together with the added cards and team rules, they give Concordia players new settings and a different way to approach their games.

Concordia: Venus (Expansion) is the expansion listing, so it uses components from the Concordia base game in addition to its new cards. It is distinct from the standalone version of Concordia Venus, which includes more maps: Imperium and Cyprus as well as Hellas and Ionium.

The standalone version includes Imperium because it is already part of the base game, while Cyprus is available through Concordia: Balearica / Cyprus. For players who already have Concordia, this expansion brings the Venus cards, two additional maps, and team play rules together in one addition.
