About this expansion

More Containers is a 2026 board game for 3–5 players, adding new modules and updated fan favorites to the classic game.

Loans become a matter of negotiation rather than a simple bank transaction. Each player holds two loan cards, and anyone seeking a loan must first approach another player. The lender collects interest, creating new opportunities for tense deals between players.

The game also introduces Luxury Containers: 10 golden containers that follow new scoring rules as their value escalates. Players can trade in any two containers to upgrade to a gold container. In the Deluxe Edition, these special containers are metal.

With the Trucking Expansion, containers gain a new connection between factories and warehouses. Each player receives a trucking board that earns $1 whenever goods are transported.

Trucking companies accumulate wealth and can be auctioned to a new owner. The winner receives both the company’s current cash and all future shipping income, making each auction an opportunity to secure an ongoing source of revenue.

By combining player-funded loans, escalating luxury-container values, and auctionable trucking companies, More Containers expands the classic experience with fresh negotiation, upgrading, and income-building possibilities.
