About this board game

Cosmic Cow Collectors is a 20-minute game for 2–4 players, released in 2024, about alien empires competing to control the universe’s most prized resource: cows.

Each player begins with a Secret Planet card showing a numeric value and the number of repeated cards in the deck. Keep your planet hidden while building a herd, because your opponents are searching for clues that could reveal where to invade.

On your turn, choose one of three actions:

• Abduct: Declare a number equal to or lower than your Secret Planet’s value and gain that many Cows.
• Invade: Make attempts to guess an opponent’s Secret Planet value. A successful invasion wins their card, which can provide Bonus Cows at the end of the game.
• Explore: Draw a Planet card and optionally replace your Secret Planet card, reducing the chance that your rivals can invade you.

Every decision balances immediate rewards against the risk of exposing your location. Abducting can grow your score, while exploring may give you a safer secret planet. Invading, meanwhile, lets you turn deductions about your opponents into valuable endgame bonuses.

The game ends when the deck runs out of cards or when a player reaches 120 Cows. After adding Bonus Cows for the endgame conditions that have been met, the player with the most Cows wins.

With its blend of hidden planetary information, guessing, exploration, and direct competition, Cosmic Cow Collectors challenges players to gather the largest herd while protecting the planets they value most.
