About this expansion

Creature Caravan: Wanderers is a 2024 expansion for Creature Caravan that adds components for a fifth and sixth player. It also introduces 45 creature cards, extra dice, and a new card type: items.

Items can be equipped to creature cards, provided the creature has the required type. This adds a new way to combine cards within the Creature Caravan system, using creature types as the requirement for attaching items.

Many item abilities activate when a die is placed on the creature they are equipped to. As a result, the relationship between an equipped item, its creature, and the placement of dice is central to how these new cards function.

Wanderers expands the card and component selection while preserving a clear connection between creatures, types, items, and dice. Backers of Creature Caravan receive the Wanderers expansion for free. The expansion is also planned to become available for separate purchase at a later date.
