About this board game

Cryptid Cafe is a restaurant-themed board game for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Set in a Sasquatch-owned cafe, it challenges players to become the most legendary server by gathering food, completing customer orders, and earning tips.

As a lead server, you strategically dispatch your team of Sasquatch servers to different food stations. Collect the items needed for waiting customers, then fill their orders to keep them satisfied and maximize your earnings.

Customer satisfaction changes as the rounds pass. Cryptids become increasingly frustrated when their food is delayed, so their tips grow smaller over time. If they wait too long, they will leave the restaurant entirely, forcing you to give some of your tips to the owner at the end of the night.

• Manage limited spaces, breaking food stations, and growing piles of orders.
• Compete with other lead servers while deciding whether to share tips with the chef.

Other players are working the same busy shift, competing for the spaces and resources needed to serve their own customers. With food stations breaking and orders piling up, timing becomes essential. Sharing some of your tips with the chef may help you get the food you need first.

At the end of the night, the player who has managed the cafe’s pressure most effectively and earned the most tips is crowned the most legendary server. Released in 2022, Cryptid Cafe combines food collection, order fulfillment, competition, and customer management in a lively restaurant setting.
